Privacy Statement

Last updated: 4 September 2026

Introduction

Tech Sales House Limited (“Tech Sales House”, “we”, “us”, “our”) recognises its responsibilities in relation to the collection, use, disclosure and other processing and storage of personal data.

Among the most important assets of our business is the trust placed in us to handle information properly. Clients and prospective clients expect us to keep their information accurate, protected against manipulation and error, secure from theft and free from unwarranted disclosure. We protect the data of our clients and prospective clients by complying with the relevant data protection laws and regulations and by applying strict standards of security and confidentiality.

This statement tells you how and why your personal data is collected, how it is intended to be used, to whom it may be transferred, how to access, review and amend it, and our position on direct marketing and the use of cookies. By using this website you are accepting the practices set out in this statement. If you object to any of them, please do not use this website to submit your personal information to us.

This website is for general information purposes only. While we use reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of the information on it, we do not warrant its absolute accuracy or accept any liability for loss or damage resulting from any inaccuracy or omission. No information contained on this website may be copied, except for personal use, or redistributed without our prior permission.

The provision of your personal data is voluntary. You may choose not to provide the data we request, but failure to do so may inhibit our ability to respond to your enquiry or provide our services to you. We will not collect any information that identifies you personally through this website unless and until you communicate with us — for example by submitting the enquiry form or writing to us by email.

How we collect data

We collect and store your personal data:

  • directly, when you provide it to us — for example when you submit the enquiry form on this website or send us an email;
  • indirectly, through the standard server logs generated when your browser requests pages from this website; or
  • where you have provided it to us through any other means, such as a meeting, a call, or a professional network.

The personal data we collect includes:

  • identity and contact information — your name, your company, the market you are interested in, your email address, and the content of your message; and
  • technical information — the IP address recorded in our hosting provider's server logs, together with the basic request details those logs contain.

We do not collect sensitive personal data through this website, we do not buy personal data from data brokers, and we do not operate social media features that collect data on our behalf.

Why we collect your personal data and how it is used

Personal data is collected for the following purposes:

  • to respond to your enquiry and to correspond with you about it;
  • where relevant, to discuss, agree, and perform an engagement with you or your company;
  • to operate and secure this website, including preventing abuse and diagnosing faults;
  • to keep the records we are required to keep under applicable tax, company and accounting law; and
  • other purposes notified to you at the time of collection, or purposes directly related to any of the above.

Unless permitted by applicable law, we will obtain your consent if we wish to use your personal data for purposes other than those set out in this statement.

We retain enquiry correspondence for 24 months, after which it is deleted. Where an enquiry leads to a client relationship, we retain records for as long as required by Hong Kong tax and company law. We apply reasonable security measures to prevent unauthorised or accidental access, processing, erasure, loss or use, including encryption in transit, access controls, and limiting access to the enquiry inbox to those who need it. You may ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.

Who may be provided with your personal data

Personal data is kept confidential but may, where permitted by law or where disclosure is necessary to satisfy the purpose for which it was collected, be provided to:

  • our email provider, Proton AG, established in Switzerland, which hosts our correspondence;
  • our website hosting provider, Lovable Labs AB, established in Sweden, which operates this site and its server logs;
  • our professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers, where they need it to advise us; and
  • government or regulatory bodies, or any other person, where we are required to disclose data under a legal or regulatory obligation.

Each service provider acts as a processor under a data processing agreement and may use your data only on our instructions. We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes.

If we were at any time to sell or transfer our business, or part of it, your personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction, and would continue to be treated in accordance with this statement so far as practicable and permissible.

Your personal data may be transferred to, stored, and processed in jurisdictions other than the one in which you are located. We are based in Hong Kong; when you send us an enquiry through this site you are sending that information to us in Hong Kong. Our email provider is in Switzerland, which the European Commission has recognised as providing an adequate level of data protection. Data will only be transferred where we are satisfied that adequate levels of protection exist.

Access rights to personal data

Under applicable laws and regulations you may have the right to:

  • verify whether we hold any personal data about you and to access that data, or information about how we have used or disclosed it;
  • require us to correct any personal data relating to you which is inaccurate;
  • request deletion of your personal data in certain circumstances;
  • withdraw your consent, or object to or request restriction of our processing;
  • make a complaint about our handling of your data; and
  • enquire about our policies and practices in relation to personal data.

Requests for access or correction, complaints, and other queries relating to your personal data should be addressed to:

Email: info@tech-saleshouse.com

We will respond within one month. Where a request is complex we may extend this by up to two further months, and we will tell you within the first month if we do.

Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) in responding to business enquiries addressed to us, and, where an enquiry concerns a possible engagement, on Article 6(1)(b), being steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority; in the United Kingdom this is the Information Commissioner's Office. We are also subject to the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486), and you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, Hong Kong.

Use of personal data for direct marketing purposes

We do not use your personal data for direct marketing. We will not add you to a mailing list, send you promotional material, or provide your details to any third party for their marketing purposes, unless you separately and expressly ask us to. If you have asked to receive such communications, you may withdraw that request at any time by emailing info@tech-saleshouse.com, and we will stop.

Use of cookies

Cookies are small text files containing small amounts of information which are downloaded and may be stored on your browser or internet-enabled device, and which can later be read by the server.

This site uses only cookies and local storage that are strictly necessary for it to function. Our network provider, Cloudflare, sets a bot-management cookie (__cf_bm) on every visit to distinguish people from automated traffic; it expires after 30 minutes. We also load a deferred analytics script that measures aggregate page visits. We do not use advertising, profiling or tracking cookies, we do not build a profile of your interests, and we do not serve advertising. The typefaces used on this site are served from our own domain.

When a visit arrives from an AI assistant (such as ChatGPT or Perplexity) or from an automated search crawler, we record only the name of that service, the page visited and the time. We do not record your IP address or any other information that identifies you, and we set no cookie for this.

Amendments to this statement

We reserve the right to add to, change, update or modify this statement at any time. Any such change will be effective immediately upon posting on this page, and the version posted here is always the current one. Where required by applicable law, we will notify you of material changes and, where required, seek your consent to them.
